"I have to admit you need lowers to eliminate the head buffeting with the OEM adjustable windshield I bought. So, the questions is how quickly can I get a set of lowers. I go out riding this morning to the local Harley dealer(for the free cup of coffee) and parked just beyond there front door is a Heritage Softail with a set of chromed lowers. The are a V shape that starts out about 3 inches wide and tapers to one inch. I look at them and think these might work on the C90. Measured the spacing of the mounting holes and it's exactly the spacing between the top mounting hole of my OEM windshield and the bottom hole of the windshield bracket which is not used for the adjustable windshield. I bought them and had them on in an hour. I had to drill one hole to accept the lower bolt of the windshield. They absolutely look like they were made for the C90. It's incredible. And do they work at stopping the buffeting. It was windy here today - 20-30 mph and gusty. Going head on into the wind - no buffeting. Almost like being in a car it was so quiet. It turned out that I did have to elongate one of the mounting holes of the lowers but not more than millimeter or two. I guess I would advise anyone to take a look at these for lowers if you need them. The make the from of the bike look great. The dealer had them in stock. The Harley part number is 58125-90B and they were only $66 plus tax."

Here’s another answer for those looking into lowers for their C90/LC’s, from
GMan Industries:
This is the same Extender as the smaller Windshield Height Extender we offer
but with one big difference; it allows you to add those nice Harley Chrome
Lowers (58121-85B), which can be found at
JP Cycles as Part #7500110
among other places. This little piece of computer cut aluminum allows you to
raise your Stock Suzuki LC/C90 Windshield in 2 increments from 1.5” to 3” above
the stock position, but now you can add that extra bit of chrome (Harley lowers)
to make it really shine while blocking some of that extra under windshield
turbulence you might be experiencing.
The kit includes Stainless Steel Button Allen Bolts, Nuts and all necessary
Instructions to make it happen.
How can I install fairing air deflectors?

I bought my VL1500 replacement shield after much searching.....
I wanted something a little taller than stock. And I wanted a HARLEY shape, so I
went with the Roadking KING SIZE style instead of the VL1500 exact replica that
they carry.
Anyway, I bought mine for $105 at
http://www.ceebaileys.com/cycle
They also sell on EBAY. They also carry brand spankin new LOWERS for $25/pair.
They are one of 3 companies that make motorcycle windshields out of AIRCRAFT
grade plastics.....much stronger, clearer, etc. than Lexan. I got my choice of
colors and had them cut it 2 inches taller than stock. Now I wish I would have
gotten 4" more.
Anyway, they custom make it, rush ship it, and it's very reasonable $$$$. Just
use your existing hardware. Heck with Suzuki's $400 price tag.

from their site, "Memphis Shades' Fats, Slim and Sportshields feature
exclusive Quick Change hardware, which allows you to remove or change
windshields in just over one minute."
