Jetting The LC
This section is the result of some of my picture taking from a recent rejet as well as some pictures provided by Chuck Cameron (Mufasa) from the Intruder Forum along with some of the tips and information from HC, also from the Intruder Forum.

Before you start you will need a few tools including a couple of long screwdrivers, a good #2 phillips screwdriver, and may require an impact driver to loosen the carb screws. I have long since replaced my float bowl screws with allen's.

Begin by skinning the bike. At the front of the chrome center console remove the two #4 allen screws along with the two #4 allen screws that hold the front cheek covers on [image] and place the cheek covers in a safe place.

Next open the fuel door and remove the 4 outer allen screws, then remove the gas cap and place a wadded up clean paper towel in the gas filler hole to prevent parts from dropping in the fuel tank (yes been there done that) and remove the 3 phillips screws surrounding the fuel filler hole [image].

At this point you should have left the two center allen bolts [image] which are now the only thing holding the tank halves from falling to the floor.

Carefully raise the front of the center console enough that you can reach under it and unplug the electrical connector as depicted in this photograph. This is a bit of a trick on mine and you have to be real careful if you have put some types of pullback risers on the bike.

This plug has a rubber boot to protect against dirt/moisture, you will need to slide this back slightly in order to get the plug out. DO NOT pull on the wires, only on the plug. Be gentle as you don't want to make this a soldering lesson also.
